New Zealand's biggest city and most famous running venues play host to seven of the best half marathons in the country. From September 2026 to April 2027, runners and walkers of all abilities can test themselves against their peers - or their own previous selves - to mark, maintain and improve their fitness throughout the Kiwi summer. It all builds towards New Zealand's premier half marathon event, the ASICS Waterfront Half Marathon and the ultimate runner's goal, the AHMS Grand Slam medal.

Auckland Half Marathon Expands to Seven Events
Running Events, organisers of the Auckland Half Marathon Series, have announced the expansion of the series for its 11th season with the addition of two new half marathon events. The events – to be held in Millwater and Hobsonville – are upgrades to two already well-established events, which previously operated
